of course i've been spending mega-quality time with tay doing many things (movies, swimming, arts and crafts, playdates, playing barbies, etc)! i have also gotten quite a few pages done in taylor's disney world scrapbook. i am rockin' and rollin'! worked on some stuff for school. summer vacation's always a good time to tweak, improve or create things for the classroom/curriculum. always thinking of ways to make my classroom run more efficiently, be more productive and make things "funner" for the kids. (i know, i know...what's up with the grammar?!?!) it's also been a movie-goin' kind of summer. saw "license to wed" on thursday-it had its funny parts. finished my first book of the summer this morning @ 2am. it's one of
cara lockwood's newer books, i did (but i wouldn't now). it's a sequel to her first one, i do (but i don't). seriously found myself cracking up in the last few pages. one of the secondary characters was a goofball and had some awesome lines. i kept picturing the dude (seth) from the movie "knocked up". started a new book but having trouble sticking with it. i've put it down a couple of times now...maybe if i just get over the little hump...oh, so here's something i totally wanted to share. started watching the tv show
burn notice on usa. the first couple of times i saw the promos for it i was like, "naaah...don't think so" but then the song from promo haunted me and i found myself tuning into the pilot. glad i did. it's a pretty good show. he's so slick, makes you wanna become a spy just to be able to turn a cheap cell phone into a listening device. genius. love love *love* the voice-overs and the humor. you should try to catch it if you can. here's the song from the promo that had me humming it for several days!
