to my haole/mainland friends: this dish is called saimin (japanese noodles in seasoned broth)...a *staple* in hawaii. but the picture above is not just saimin. it's deluxe saimin, with the yummy fishcake, green onion and char siu on top. mmmmm...{mouth waters}

by the way grandma, jonesing is a slang meaning to have a strong need, desire, or craving for something. the act of needing something badly.
