Daddy-Daughter Dance

saturday was a big night. our neighborhood hosted a daddy-daughter dance at the clubhouse. jonathan was so excited when he saw it in the newsletter last month. he picked out taylor's dress while we were out shopping 2 weekends ago, it was just the sweetest thing. taylor was very excited to go; we were asking her if she wanted to dance with daddy. if there's one thing that our daughter goes crazy for, it's dancing. (just ask jake-our neighbor/her "boyfriend". he learned first hand, as taylor insisted on "tearing it up" to the music of the accordian player at the bavarian grill.) jonathan came home from work that evening with a bouquet of flowers for taylor (the flower in the pic is from the bouquet). she was so happy to get them! jonathan said the dance was fun-he bought her a corsage, had their picture taken and of course, danced a lot. i'm so happy they shared this night. just to see the affection between the two as they headed out the door, how truly tickled jonathan was to be sharing this experience with his baby girl...it was almost too much for me to handle!
